With the support of Al Rajhi Charity, the “Ithra Al-Matoun” platform was launched.

Ithra Al-Muton Company launched the “Ithra Al-Muton” platform, which is an electronic educational platform to serve Sharia sciences, aiming to create an environment that brings together Sharia scholars and students from different parts of the world. The ceremony began with a speech by the General Supervisor of Ithra Al-Matoun Company, Sheikh Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Shibl welcomed the audience and then spoke about the company’s role in contributing to creating a positive impact through several projects that serve Sharia education and are concerned with developing educational content, tools and skills that students need when receiving and performing. He also thanked the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation, which supported this project for five years, and the Attaat Al-Ilm Company supervising it. Then, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Shatwi, Director of the Ithra Platform, gave an explanation about the initiative, and also explained the various means and methods through which it supports educational texts, and among its most prominent projects: 1- Tree of Jurisprudence Issues, “tree of tree of Hanbali jurisprudence issues.” 2- Linking the supporting books “Linking the texts of the books of the Hanbali school of thought.” 3- Electronic dictionaries: “Creating scientific dictionaries that are electronically linked to Sharia texts.” This was followed by a presentation of a practical example of how to enter and interact with the platform, presented by Dr. Khaled Al-Muhanna, and then the floor was opened for the attendees’ interventions and inquiries. In conclusion, more than one desktop device was placed in the hall for attendees to participate in using the platform. The inauguration took place in the presence of Dr. Muhammad Al-Samman from the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Charitable Foundation, Sheikh Abdullah bin Wakil Al-Sheikh, and Mr. Ibrahim Al-Mohsen from the Supervisory Board. Sheikh Muhammad Al-Sari’i and Sheikh Mazen Al-Furaih were also present from the Ataat Al-Ilm Company. The ceremony was honored by His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Saad bin Turki Al-Khathlan, as well as a number of specialists and university professors. It is worth noting that Ataat Al-Ilm Company is one of the specific programs of the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Charitable Foundation, as it has been put on hold for the sake of God and works to achieve legitimate scientific construction and serve science, develop scientific environments and support those working in them, strengthen and preserve Islamic identity, and serve donor and grantee institutions. For scientific and educational fields and to provide plans, studies and research that would raise the efficiency and quality of projects and measure their performance for the purpose of achieving the best results at the lowest costs, and works to facilitate knowledge, disseminate it, bring it closer and benefit the people through it by any available and permissible means, adhering in all of this to the legal controls and regulations in force in this blessed country.
