The branch of the Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Charitable Foundation in Jazan held a workshop entitled “Grant Pathways and Community Issues,” during which the branch director, Mr. Ahmed bin Muhammad Johari, discussed grant paths, reviewing the most important paths that agencies often apply for. He also addressed ways to reach quality projects that serve the community and provide Effective solutions to his issues. The workshop witnessed a distinguished attendance of 17 participants representing 15 charitable organizations in the region, which are expected to present projects that serve these paths and contribute to the development of society, in order to achieve the desired goals. The grant paths at the Sulaiman Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation are a qualitative shift in grant methods, which went through several developmental stages to reach grants according to specific paths: the periodic projects path, the central projects path, the distinguished projects path, the capacity building projects path, the social investment projects path, the projects path. Creation of affiliated entities, path of projects for establishing independent entities, path of mosque projects, path of projects to support operational budgets, path of knowledge enrichment projects. The Foundation seeks to achieve community development that achieves its vision, through which it seeks to pioneer charitable grants to develop society with skill and faith by supporting effective social programs.
