With the support of the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation and in the presence of the Secretary-General and Assistant Director General of Narcotics Control in Al-Majma’ah Governorate, Mr. Abdul-Ilah bin Muhammad Al-Sharif, the Hayat Center for those recovering from addiction in the same governorate held an inauguration ceremony for its new headquarters, the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the two parties, and the inauguration of the anti-smoking clinic. Professor Abdul-Ilah gave an awareness lecture on drugs, their harms, and ways to combat and prevent them. He then continued by showing the centre’s introductory film. It is worth noting that the center is a religious, social, educational and psychological rehabilitation center concerned with following up and caring for those recovering from addiction in Al Majma’ah Governorate, and out of the belief of the Sulaiman Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation in the importance of this issue that affects an important segment of society, it was the official supporter of the “Good Life Awareness Project” which aims to raise awareness of those recovering. And qualify them to prevent relapse into drug use again. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Al Rajhi Charity was honored for its support of the center and its activities.
