The branch of the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation in the Riyadh region held a training workshop to introduce two of the Foundation’s granting tracks, namely “Capacity Building and Social Investment.” The branch targeted a number of charitable organizations in various fields, including social development committees, the Maknoon Association, Relief, and days for widows and divorced women. And other parties who attended, participated and interacted with the workshop.

The workshop began with an introductory presentation of the two tracks and clarification of the extent to which the entities need them and how to benefit from them, presented by the branch director, Mr. Aqeel Al-Aqeel. The presentation also included some examples and enriching discussions. The attendees were then divided into two groups according to the track chosen by the entity to begin the workshop.

It is worth noting that among those who influenced and led the workshop were Mr. Badr Al-Muqrin, supervisor of the social investment track, and Mr. Ibrahim Al-Husseini, supervisor of the capacity building track at the main center, where the two tracks were discussed in more detail, mentioning examples of distinct successful projects in each track, with a detailed explanation of how to build the project. Properly built and presented through a donor system without errors.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Al Rajhi Charitable Branch in the Riyadh region presented souvenirs to the attendees. The participants also expressed their happiness with the program and their aspirations for a bright development future in charitable work.

On the other hand, the branch’s efforts were combined, represented by the Director, Mr. Aqeel Al-Aqeel, the Head of the Charitable Grants Department, Mr. Ahmed Al-Huwaishil, the Head of the Projects Department, Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mazrou, and the researchers in the Grants Department, Professors Issa Al-Anazi, Abdullah Al-Jamaan, Turki Al-Saeiqer, and Muhammad Al-Suwaidan, starting by examining the need according to the grants paths. It ended with a farewell to the participating parties.
