In the presence of His Excellency the Mufti of the Jazan region and the director of the Islamic Affairs Branch in the region, and with the support of the branch of the Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation in the Jazan region; The activities of the thirteenth intensive summer course for memorizing the Prophetic Sunnah, which was organized by the Cooperative Office for Call, Guidance, and Community Awareness at the Jazan Valley Center, and the intensive summer courses for memorizing the Holy Qur’an organized by the Charitable Society for Memorization of the Holy Qur’an at the center, were concluded at Al-Fakas Mosque in the locality.
First, the director of the branch of the General Presidency for Scholarly Research and Fatwa in the Jazan region, Mr. Muhammad bin Shami Shaybah, delivered a speech in which he praised the positive and fruitful impact of the summer session on memorizing the Holy Qur’an and the Prophet’s Sunnah, calling on the participants to adhere to the Book of God Almighty and the Sunnah of His Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, noting the efforts of the Cooperative Office. And the Memorization Society, may God Almighty grant them further success.
This was followed by a speech delivered by the Director General of the Branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in the Jazan Region, Mr. Ahmed Al-Hazmi, in which he praised the results achieved by the course, stressing the importance of such courses in raising young people to pay attention to the Book of God and the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and teaching them the tolerant Islamic doctrine in accordance with The principle of moderation and moderation, pointing to the keenness and directives of the rulers and their great support for memorizing the Holy Qur’an and the purified Sunnah of the Prophet.
The ceremony also included the presentation of examples of participants in the courses, and a presentation of the most prominent activities included in them, which lasted for a month, and were attended by 327 participants who participated in memorizing the Sunnah of the Prophet and 170 in memorizing the Holy Qur’an.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the distinguished students were honored for memorizing the Holy Qur’an and the legal texts from the text “Umdat al-Ahkam wa Atlugh al-Maram,” and the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Charitable Foundation was also honored by the Cooperative Office for Call, Guidance, and Awareness of Communities at the Jazan Valley Center and the Charitable Society for Memorizing the Holy Qur’an at the Center for its support of the program.
