In keeping with Vision 2030, Al Rajhi Charity is a major sponsor of the third Volunteer Teams Forum

Under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Hossam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Al Bahah Region, and in the presence of His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Emirate of Al Bahah, Dr. Oqab bin Saqr Al Luwaihaq, the closing ceremony of the third volunteer forum in Al Bahah Region was held, which was organized by the Bergdan Social Development Committee with the support of the Sheikh Sulaiman Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation as the main sponsor. The ceremony was attended by a number of government officials, volunteer work teams and leaders, and charitable organizations in the region, at the headquarters of the Academy of Health Affairs at King Fahd Hospital in Al Baha.

The executive director of the forum stated that this is the third year in a row that the Bergdan Social Development Committee has implemented this forum to spread the culture of volunteer work in the Al-Baha region. With the support of the Sheikh Sulaiman Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation as the main sponsor and the participation of the General Directorate of Health Affairs in Al Bahah Region.

Then Mr. Ali bin Jumaan Al Suleiman, Director of the Foundation’s branch in Al-Baha region, gave a speech in which he stressed the Foundation’s keenness to continue this forum in the coming years because of its positive impact in enhancing awareness of volunteer work and keeping pace with Vision 2030 and disseminating it on a wider scale.

The number of registered people in the forum reached more than 200 male and female volunteers representing 21 volunteer teams. What is new in the program this year is the presentation of a number of working papers by those interested and specialized in volunteering, as well as the presence of a number of accompanying exhibitions.

The Al-Baha region branch was opened in the year 1429 AH, and the city of Al-Baha was chosen as its headquarters.
