The Head of the Charitable Grants Department at the branch of the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation in the Eastern Region, Mr. Muayyad bin Ibrahim Al-Hadban, accompanied by Mr. Ammar bin Sulaiman Al-Ammar, visited the Assistant Director General of Education in the Eastern Province for Educational Affairs, Dr. Sami bin Ghazi Al-Otaibi, in order to build an institutional partnership between the Foundation and education “to address The decline in the percentage of general education students enrolled in post-secondary education in Al-Thaqbah Center in Al-Khobar Governorate in 2016 AD.
The meeting began with a welcome speech from the assistant in which he praised this visit and the initiative of the Foundation. On the other hand, the Foundation was introduced and the most prominent achievements it had achieved during the previous period, in addition to the most important grant tracks through which the Foundation grants and the services it provides to the third and governmental sectors in the region. The most important recommendations of the meeting that came out were:
A preparatory meeting was held that included members of educational supervision, training, scholarship, guidance and counseling, and the Khobar Education Office.
A meeting was held between representatives of the institution and the Director General of Education, in the presence of all concerned departments.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Al-Faridan, Director of the Guidance and Counseling Department in the Eastern Region Education, Mr. Saeed Al-Qahtani, Head of the Guidance Services Units, and Mr. Abdullah Al-Saeed, Guidance and Guidance Supervisor at the Guidance and Guidance Department.
The implementation of the first recommendations began by holding the preparatory meeting at the Foundation’s headquarters, and among its most important results and recommendations were:
Review and agree on the initial partnership logical framework.
Determine the tasks required of each partner.
Set a date for the next meeting in two weeks.
The branch of the Sulaiman Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation in the Eastern Province concluded the program for developing leaders of influential social change institutions, which was implemented by the Al-Nubalaa Comprehensive Training Center on Tuesday evening, 05/17/2016 AD, at the Crowne Plaza Al-Khobar Hotel.
