Under the generous patronage of the Deputy Emir of the Hail Region, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Muqrin, the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation, represented by the Hail Region branch, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Development branch in Hail, concluded a memorandum of understanding that includes many areas of an advisory and developmental nature, based on the shared responsibility of both parties and in awareness of From both sides, due to the importance of cooperation and coordination between them in developing the non-profit sector to contribute to supporting the development trends highlighted by the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, the goals of the National Transformation Program 2020, and the Ministry’s goals according to the region’s needs and development priorities.
The memorandum stipulates cooperation in several fields through a joint committee formed in accordance with the regulations and procedures followed by both parties. The aspects of cooperation include the following:
1. Continuous work to determine the development need of the region, determine the need of the non-profit sector, and submit studies and reports related to its development, in accordance with the regulations and procedures followed by both parties.
2. Holding seminars, conferences, workshops and networking meetings that aim to serve the community in general and contribute to the development of the non-profit sector in particular, in accordance with the regulations and procedures followed by both parties.
3. The two parties will cooperate in planning, preparing and implementing capacity-building programs needed by the non-profit sector in the areas of institutional development, whether the programs are paid or free, in accordance with the systems and procedures followed by both parties.
4. Cooperation in identifying the Hail region’s need for specialized entities and working to establish, develop and empower them, in accordance with the systems and procedures followed by both parties.
5. Work to evaluate the non-profit sector entities in the Hail region, mature their projects, measure their outputs, develop their performance, and provide technical support to them, in accordance with the systems and procedures followed by both parties.
6. Preparing statistics, exchanging data, and communicating knowledge that contributes to developing the work of the non-profit sector and empowering its stakeholders, in accordance with the systems and procedures followed by both parties.
7. Contributing to the activation and success of the programs and actions of both parties by participating in them and highlighting them in the media, in accordance with the systems and procedures followed by both parties.
8. Cooperation to develop and support the entities affiliated with the branch of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, such as the observation home, the orphanage center, the comprehensive rehabilitation center, the care home for the elderly, and the girls’ care institution, in accordance with the regulations and procedures followed by both parties.
9. Enabling both parties to invest material and human resources in establishing their activities with the other party, in accordance with the systems and procedures followed by both parties.
10. Forming work teams from employees of both parties and relevant parties to implement programs and achieve common visions.
Al-Rajhi Charity was represented at the signing by the Director of the Foundation’s branch in the Hail region, Dr. Talal bin Muhammad Al-Saif, and on the part of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development branch in the region, it was represented by the branch director, Mr. Fareh bin Muhammad Al-Ayyad.
Through the signing of this memorandum and other agreements in other fields, the Sulaiman Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation seeks to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, in addition to achieving the Foundation’s vision of pioneering charitable grants to develop society with faith and mastery, and its mission of providing grants to maximize goodness, achieve community growth, and empower beneficiaries with the best practices.
