Al Rajhi Charity trains on “How to Serve a Donor?”

As the first event that brought together managers of donor service centers in the regions of the Kingdom, the Foundation held an intensive 12-hour training course entitled “How to Serve a Donor?” during the second and third Friday and Saturday of the month of Dhul-Hijjah 1443 AH, at the Shada Riyadh Hotel, adjacent to Al-Rajhi Mosque in the Al-Jazeera neighborhood. The course was presented. Each of the trainers: Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mohsen, Head of the Donor Services Center, Dr. Naif Al-Jaber, Head of the Programs Department, Engineer Riyad Al-Fariji, Head of the Corporate Communication Center, and Mr. Khaled Basrida, Head of the Planning Department, during which the trainees were introduced to the theoretical foundations and concepts of donor charitable work, and the role of donors in community development. Enabling participants with the ABCs, mechanisms, and arts of dealing with donors, and the tools and skills through which donors are attracted; In addition to clarifying the rights of donors, introducing their various motivations, and ways to motivate and appreciate them, and learning about the “Donor Services Center” project, its working mechanism, how to manage it, and understanding its methods and approaches; Through practical training and actual models.
The course contained six sessions; The first session included: a journey with grants, its concept and story, strategies and methods of grants, types of donor institutions, who are the donors?, and what is donor service?, and concluded with the general rules for providing distinctive services to donors, while the second session contained international experiences in serving donors, and international experiences In serving donors, Gulf experiences in serving donors, and local experiences in serving donors. The third session dealt with relations with donors, and why do we care about donors? How do you build a successful relationship with donors? How do we deal with donors? The art of communication and the power of persuasion and influence. The topics were The fifth session was about the story of the Donor Service Center and its importance, and the idea of ​​the success journey (establishing the Donor Service Center), then the importance of the center and its goals, the center’s target group, the services provided by the center, and the non-profit sector’s need for this center. The fifth session reviewed: the center’s advisory and information services and its executive services. It discussed the center’s administrative structure, the basic features of the center’s success, performance standards, and tasks and responsibilities. The sixth final session was dedicated to discussing the center’s operational plan, which included an open dialogue, discussions, visions, and proposals. At the conclusion of the session, His Excellency the CEO, Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Rajhi, honored Trainers and attendees.
