Sulaiman Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation wins the Sharjah Government Communication Award

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, crowned the Sulaiman Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the Best Communication Practices Award for Dealing with Development Challenges at the Global Category Level.
The award was received by His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman bin Sulaiman Al Rajhi. Member of the Board of Supervisors of the Sulaiman Al Rajhi Endowment, at the Sharjah Government Communication Award ceremony in its tenth session, which was held yesterday evening, Thursday, at the Expo Center Sharjah, in the presence of more than 250 experts from various countries of the world.
The Foundation was nominated to win from among 1,538 Arab and international entities and 37 advanced countries to compete for the award, which is organized by the Sharjah Government Media Office at the Arab and international levels.
The ceremony was attended by the CEO of the Sulaiman Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation, Dr. Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohsen, who stressed that the objectives of institutional communication at the Sulaiman Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation are based on strengthening the relationship and trust between the organization and its internal and external audiences, building the mental image of the organization, managing its reputation and status, and     spreading the values ​​of charitable work that The Foundation adopts it, in addition to introducing the Foundation’s products, programs, activities and values, and activating two-way communication, by conveying the Foundation’s message, receiving and processing feedback from the public, and finally indicating successful models and projects to emulate.
As the official spokesman stated; Director of the Institutional Communication Center at the Foundation, Dr. Riyad bin Nasser Al-Fariji, said that the Sulaiman Al-Rajhi Charitable Foundation plays a role in developing the community strategy to meet the changing development needs and challenges of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and that institutional communication constitutes an important role in the success of the new grants strategy, as it contributed to managing communication between the Foundation and stakeholders. From the public, private and non-profit sectors, he followed the update and analysis of the development reality in the Kingdom, and ensured the quality of the communication process and its consistency with the organization’s identity and communication strategy, which was reflected in the development and improvement to achieve the positive mental image that the organization has developed over four decades.
It is noteworthy that the track that the Foundation applied for is granted to a governmental, semi-governmental or private entity or institution that has implemented communication programs or campaigns and achieved positive goals in dealing with economic and social challenges. The Foundation has submitted a file bearing the name “Development Communication Seven,” which contains 3 axes in “ “Institutional Communication” includes: guidelines, applications, and techniques, in addition to 4 axes in “Development Grants,” which include: processes, communications, results, and impacts, which resulted in 7 gains that strengthened the institution’s handling of development challenges, contributed to its continuous development, and emphasized that the beneficiary comes first.
