As part of the periodic visits to projects supported by the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation for the year 2016, the Foundation’s branch in the Medina region visited Al-Mahd Governorate and the Al-Sabiyah Center to follow up on the projects, ensure that support reaches the beneficiaries, and measure the impact of the grants in the region.
The Foundation supported the Friends of Patients Committee in Al-Mahd Governorate in the “Ebsar” project, which serves beneficiaries of the people of the governorate in eye treatment for cataracts and glaucoma, in addition to the cost of transportation and housing in the city until the operations are completed.
As well as the “A Spark of Hope” project implemented by the Al-Bir Charitable Society in Al-Sabiya, which consists of food baskets that suffice the beneficiaries with their basic need for food supplies.
The Foundation's branch was represented in the visits by researcher Mr. Bandar Al-Awfi and accountant Mr. Othman Babiker.
The branch of the Sulaiman Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation in the Eastern Province concluded the program for developing leaders of influential social change institutions, which was implemented by the Al-Nubalaa Comprehensive Training Center on Tuesday evening, 05/17/2016 AD, at the Crowne Plaza Al-Khobar Hotel.
