The Foundation’s branch in the Medina region held its annual communication meeting with charitable organizations in the region for the year 2013 at the Le Meridien Hotel in Medina. It was attended by 93 people from 82 charitable organizations and 4 government agencies.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Director of the Foundation’s branch in the Medina region, Sheikh Ali Al-Qazlan, welcomed the attendees, then he presented his paper that specialized in the Foundation’s new strategies, and the Chairman of the Branch’s Charitable Work Committee, His Excellency Engineer Saleh Al-Muhaisen, presented the second working paper at the meeting, which focused on the types of strategic grants and their applications in... The Foundation, followed by the Vice Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Mustafa Alawi presented a third working paper related to the support and decision-making mechanism in the organization, and finally, Mr. Abdul Rahman Barzeq, a researcher in the Charitable Work Department, concluded the working papers by presenting a paper in which he explained the support mechanism, its models, and application periods during the year 2013 AD, and highlighted the most prominent observations on the projects submitted.
This was followed by an open session for the branch director, the head of the committee and his deputy, with representatives of charitable and government agencies to listen to their comments and respond to their inquiries. Then 11 entities were honored that distinguished themselves in their commitment to the support mechanism approved by the Foundation and administrative communication with the branch.
The director of the Qur’an Memorization Society in Mahd also delivered a speech to the honorees in which he explained the importance of communication in institutional work, and reviewed the difficulties and obstacles they faced in presenting the project and how the association overcame them and became one of the entities that received the Excellence Award this year.
