A Filipino resident converts to Islam in the “Abu Arish Cooperative”

On Monday, 12/26/2016, a resident of Filipino nationality, a “Christian,” announced his conversion to Islam, at the Cooperative Office for Preaching, Guidance, and Awareness of Communities in Abu Arish Governorate. This comes after he regularly attended community classes held every Friday at the office’s headquarters as part of the “Al-Fanar” project, which aims to introduce non-Muslims to Islam and also concerns new Muslims. It is worth noting that this project is among the projects supported by the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation in the Jazan region, through which it seeks to provide grants to maximize goodness, achieve community growth, and empower beneficiaries with the best practices based on its mission.
