Launching the strategic initiative “Rushd for Orphan Care in the Kingdom”

Visit of the Secretary-General to King Abdullah’s endowment for his parents

Memorandum of understanding with the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu

The first specialized center for treating burn injuries in the Kingdom

The Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Center for Trauma Surgery was opened in 2011 with support from the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation, at a total cost of 85 million riyals. It was built with the latest international engineering specifications in the field of trauma surgery, and is located within King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh on the western side of the main hospital.

The building consists of five floors on an area of eighteen thousand square meters and has a capacity of 179 beds. It is concerned with treating burns and accident injuries.

The Foundation wins the Best Supporter Award in Al-Jawf Region for the year 1437 AH

Under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Emir of the Al-Jouf Region, and in honor of His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Emirate of the Al-Jouf Region, Dr. Hamed bin Maleh Al-Shammari, the Al-Jouf Award Ceremony for Charitable Work was held, and the branch of the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Charitable Foundation in the Al-Jouf Region was honored with the Best Award Supporter of charitable organizations in the region for the year 1437 AH.
